Play Cafe Phnom Penh

This mural was designed for Play Cafe, a unique space dedicated to play and togetherness, where children of all ages can freely play with their parents. Located on a massive wall, the artwork needed to meet several requirements: adhere to the café’s menu and branding color scheme, create a joyful yet non-childish atmosphere, and incorporate elements inspired by nature.

The main challenge was to bring this large wall to life while keeping the space bright and open, completing the project within tight deadlines before the café’s opening, and staying within a limited budget. Through organic shapes and vibrant colors, the mural adds freshness and energy to the space, creating an environment that feels welcoming for both children and adults.

This project highlights the importance of thoughtful design, where every detail – from the choice of colors to the overall composition – helps transform a functional space into a warm and inspiring place.
